the sky is falling. literally.

So last night I got a call at midnight.

I answer, thinking someone died (mostly jarom's assumption).

Bad idea.
Apparently our office is now a lake.

Here's the story:

Monday all of the water heaters got red flagged by the gas company because they were putting off carbon monoxide in our office (we must have some lungs of steel because we're not dead yet!). Well, does anyone know what happens when you have no water heater?

Well I'll tell you. The pipes explode, tear a hole in the ceiling and drip gallons and gallons of water all over your desk (well, rachel's), contract books, computer and soak the carpet completely! Not to mention makes the whole place smelllllllll!

I don't know if you can see it, but here is the stupid little hole! And I don't know if you can see the mold but...there was SO MUCH MOLD up in that ceiling. The guy from the restoration company said we were lucky this happened because it was so bad! Not to mention super nasty! I swear I'm sick to my stomach from mold overexposure. Can someone tell me why that building is not condemned?

So we spent all day moving our office over to the hotel. It sucks so bad! I will now be taking up residence in the farrr back corner. Brightside? I'm right next to the heater.

Tonight we also got the keys to our new apartment. So we've been moving all night.

Today is the day for moving. That's for sure! I will be sleeping from now on so if something ridiculous happens, don't call me because I won't be answering!

A little over productive

We pretty much had the best weekend of all time!
I made some crafty things with paint and plywood(cute sign for valentines<3)

Jarom worked on airbrushing Nate's Motorcycle. It's turning out pretty schweet! So proud of him.

I also made some super cute garlands (for me and mom) Pics to come soon! And some fun stuff with felt (i'm so obsessed with felt lately) :) I watched Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid and several episodes of the original Ninja Turtles (how much more productive can you be in a weekend?!?).

(It also snowed a ridiculous amount).

Today we had to call the gas company into work because we have gases venting in to our office. Safe, yes we know!!! So, apparently the water heater in the room next door is like, a hundred years old and needs replacing and is leaking Carbon Monoxide in right through our vents. Not only that, but when trucks park outside their exhaust vents in through that room too! woohoo! No wonder I get migraines all the time, eh? Well, I guess I could be dead!!!! (lawsuit? geez) So they shut us down (in the sense that we had no hot water today and probably won't until they get it fixed). Crazy, Crazy, Crazy!!! Welcome to my life @ the Red Lion! On a lighter note...

Tonight...

I went to a baby shower for Onala (how cute is the name Paisley btw), made a scarf, danced around the house with jarom, downloaded more ska, had a rootbeer float, painted a little, took pictures of myself. Very nice.

ikea and some other important things in the world

After the bridal festival (sigh of relief!) we headed down to Utah to see Dad and Ryan for their birthdays. Happy Birthday!!! Ryan turned 18 (Still 12 to me though). It's crazy to think that he's graduating this year. I am now officially old (well...in comparison:))

Boring cake eh? We didn't even have candles, so I had Ryan blow some M&M's off of the top! On Monday Jarom and the boys went snowboarding (and skiing) and Mom and I did what we do best...shop! But the shopping was seriously lame, too much inbetween seasons. With the exception of a convenient little trip to ikea (ikea+me=love)(ikea+jarom=really, do we have to go there again?) yes! I finally bought the shelf I've been waiting for. It will be great when we move and I can finally set it up. 1 week and counting...

bridal festival

Jarom and I spent last Saturday at work (again). oh joy. Putting on the bridal festival with jewel productions. This also included running our booth for the Red Lion (and Jannette's Scentsy booth) so it was CRAZY!!! We were running all over doing everything, running copies, helping with registration, doing sales at our booth!
AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
I didn't eat until 8pm that day (and i mean all day, no food-welcome to the Red Lion diet!)
But I thought I'd post some pictures of our booth that I designed because I think it was super cute!

Very pink and girlie! And I love love love the polka dot cake!
