Busy Beavers...

Hi! It's been a super busy weekend and we have been all over the place! Saturday afternoon we made our way up to Mountain Home/Boise for the blessing of James and Kayla's baby Aybrie on Sunday. Then we headed home on Sunday. Today Jarom started a new job at a grocery store that is right down the road and I took a trip down to Ikea with Sam and her mom and grandma and my mom. That is the last few days in a nutshell! I will expand on everything tomorrow hopefully! When I have more time!

So I will leave you with this! holy...!

love it!

yes, another video.

Okay, this is the last one for tonight! Can we tell I'm excited I can get this video thing to work!?!?! And can we also tell I have been spending too much time on YouTube...yes we can. So, one of my favorite bands, Alkaline Trio, came out with a new cd (This Addiction) about a month ago and this is the first single from the cd. If anyone is reading this and has heard the cd, let me know if it's good because I haven't listened to it yet and I'm just wondering if they are doing the same, "we're-growing-up-and-we're-getting-a-slower-and-more-mature-sound-band-thing that everyone else is doing. I don't think they are if I'm judging from this song. But you never know, the other songs could be slooow and that is not what I am in the mood for right now!
Anyway...here's the video!

Hope you like. I did not screen for content :) so I apologize in advance. haha
xo. goodnight.

Stop Motion

There is some beautiful stop motion going on out there right now! These two videos have been floating around the internet a lot lately and for good reason. They are quite lovely! I have really been wanting to post these for a few weeks but they wouldn't fit until I adjusted the width of my blog so...finally, right?

First: The music video for the song Lost Things by A Fine Frenzy, directed by Angela Kohler.
This really inspires me & Alison Sudol of A Fine Frenzy is gorgeous (kinda wish I was a redhead)!

Second & Third: The Kindle commercial series. They are pretty darn cute, too!

Directed by Ithyle Griffiths and Angela Kohler.

AH*Mazing!

I was just over at a beautiful mess and saw this beautiful mural (and a lot of other great tutorials!) It is sooo amazing, words cannot express! I really want to do this. Really, Really! Especially because we have the capabilities with a projector and whatnot. I have always been a big fan of paint by numbers, and am always on the look out for good ones at thrift stores but never seem to have any luck (insert sad face). Love the landscapes with lovely fall colors and the ship ones! (so keep a look out for me, k?)

Model Train Show (Warning: Image Heavy!)

This weekend Jarom and me and Ryan and his lady friend Taylor went to the Model Railroad Festival in Ogden, UT. We thought there weren't going to be a lot of people there (I was figuring about 12 old men)...apparently there is a very large model train following in this area!  Model trains are pretty dang expensive...I never knew! and there were a LOT of them! I've always loved the little model landscapes they make for them, with the coolest little details. This was all great...but then we spot the sign: Lego Exhibit ->  and I wouldn't let us leave until I got to see it! I have allllways loveeeed Legos! I am soooo glad we hiked up 50 steep stairs to see this one! Check out these pictures! (Sorry about the quality, they are from my phone and there were a lot of bright windows in the room)

oh my goodness...a "space station" with Star Wars ships annnd.....
a Pirate filled ocean...

  and cute little towns...

 cute Euro town...German maybe...
Eiffel Tower...
a farm....with a cow being beamed up by aliens...

how cute are the sheep and haybales?!?!

cute middle eastern town...complete with ninjas!

carousel...

our future home:)...love the green one...maybe the blue...

this town has catacombs...
 us...

All of this aahhhmazing "lego-ness," plus some pretty awesome Lego trains riding through it all! I am considering a career change! Is it possible to be a professional Lego-er?

Sorry this post is so image heavy, I just thing this is like the coolest thing EVER! Hope you like.

Blog & Business Workshop

FYI: You should totally look into this blog and business workshop going on at MarthaWrites this week. I will most definitely be checking it out daily because it is exactly what I need right now! Starting an online business is sooo much more work than I thought it would be. It is not just make item, photograph item, list item...at least not yet. So I have been working hard and trying not to be discouraged by all the competition out there. I have been busy writing shop policies, researching shipping, designing shop banner, etc. I can't wait until I can get things going smoothly! Wish me luck!
